Vendor Guidelines: Vendors Please Read.

We welcome new vendors and we would love to have you broker with us.
Here are the guidelines for becoming a vendor with Dreamslayer Visions.

Vendors:
We adhere to the Digital Millenium Copyright Act. DMCA
We strictly comply with the copyright act, and don't take violations lightly.
If you are found to have copyrighted material that is not your own, you will be given a chance
to change it. Second copyright violations and you will be banned as a merchant. Please read our TOS.

Maximum file size is 70mb. Large files should be split into several files, as product.zip, product1of2.zip, product2of2.zip .
Only zip format for PC is allowed and .sit for the MAC. for both MAC/PC you will need to use the zip format.
Your uploaded file must include your readme, ( readme can be in a readme folder) and the readme should have a name either yours or product name, not just readme. Personal readme's are easier to find for the buyer if needed.

Second a folder that includes any promos, price and description for your product. First upload should contain your paypal info in the description

The read me must be in plain text. The readme should include
Name of Product, copyright date and statement
Name of Merchant
Contact email of merchant
Description of Product
System Requirements: What Pc/Mac and Compatible software is needed
Ownership statement and list of any other resources used
Any other 3d parties products you need in order to use your product
Installation Instructions
Usage Tips/Limitations
Exact Files List, including Folder and file name listing for all files included.

The readme should include your statement of ownership and a list of merchant resources.
Example All of the contents in this product package was created by Merchant Name or Merchants Names
Using the following resources list name of resource and creator of resource. You must do this
for all other sources used in making your product.

If permission is needed to use another source's product in the making of your own , permission statement should be mailed along with the readme.

Package your products using the runtime folder format, in selective paths not absolute paths in eg, not c:/programs/Poser6/props/filename but rather runtime folder structure. Your file path should be Runtime:Libraries:Pose:yourfolder:nameofitem for an example.
Please no spaces in the file names it will hang some programs such as Poser.

Place a runtime folder on your desktop and set it up like the poser runtime directory for the files required. Once you have it all zipped change the folder to your file name. This way it will install correctly into the right runtime folders.

For other products not for poser the files do not need to be distributed to subfolders.
Just place in a folder with product name and zip. You will still need to include the license, and readme and include all of the above.

Payment Information:
You will receive 70% of the product price for your item. The store will receivew 30%. If your item is to be an exclusive item to our store only then your percentage will be 75%.
All payments will be made at the end of the month for all products sold . You can be paid by paypal, or store credit at this time.
You will be notified of any sales you have made.

We strive to have our products be the best that they can be. Before you upload your product you should have your personal testers test your product. We will still test your product, but it will help our testers computers if your products have been at least pretested by you. Our testers will do a thorough job of making sure your product not only meets our guidelines but is the best it can be before it will be placed into the store. When the quality is good, customers won't complain and you will get repeat buyers.

All of our products are pretested and then thoroughly tested. If they don't pass pretesting you will have to fix the files and read me before the rest of the product is tested.
Once the product is tested, and there is a problem found you will receive an email with a testers form listing what was found and if anything what needs to be fixed. Once the item is fixed : reupload your fixed files, and notify the Tester manager of the uploaded fixed files so they can be assigned to a tester. Once the product is passed you will receive notification that your product has been accepted into the store. You will be notified of all sales made for your product.

We do our best in testing to make sure that the product is defect free, but in case there is found something that was not tested under our requirements for store submission and a problem was found with your product and a customer complains, it is up to you the merchant to make sure that you satisfy the customer and try to rectify what the problem may be.

Once accepted as a vendor:

Please use a ftp program to upload your product. You will be given the information you need once you are registered as a vendor. Don't forget to post your product in the new upload section of the Vendor Forum.

You must have a second zip file as well that lists your product description and at least two promos of your product, (no larger than 800x800 preferred when you upload your product.) Thumbs are not needed. Your first or main image will be turned into a thumbnail. You may have as many promos as needed for your product
